As it pertains to making money the definition of rich is attaining great wealth or possessions. I've read plenty of articles over the years about get rich Internet businesses. Let's talk for a minute about building a get rich slow Internet business.

I remember reading one time where Willie Crawford said if building an Internet business online were so much easier than building an Internet business offline then more people would be doing. I wonder what percentage of people who actually make a least a full-time living online is compared to people who run an offline business full time as a career?

An Internet home business is nothing more than an opportunity to make money at home. Many of these come with the system such as the Plug-in Profit Site or My Affiliate Power Site. I have been involved with both of these in the past.

This is no different than if you were to buy a franchise offline. I guess one difference would be the amount of money you invest up front, but they're both still opportunities.

These are also generally what I would consider get rich slow opportunities. It's going to take time and money before you develop enough customers to build a business that sustains itself.

Eventually you have to replace yourself if you expect to cut back on the amount of time you spend on your business. The only way you are going to get rich from any business, whether it's an Internet business or an offline business, is to make money and either save it or invest it.

Very few people actually get rich with their Internet business. Those that do sacrifice to get there.

Now this is not to say that you can't reap the benefits of building a full-time Internet business. It certainly is nice to get up and work for yourself every day as opposed to going to a job.

However, you need to change the way you view it. When you first get started you are in a get rich slow Internet business. Chances are that's where you'll stay, but that is not all bad.

If you are one of the millions of people who are unemployed in the United States just the opportunity to make money from home is very exciting. Getting rich is probably the last thing on your mind.

The opportunities are certainly there for people to make enough money to pay the bills. You may never be rich financially, but you have the self satisfaction of not relying on the government to take care of you.
