Catch Obama's Fireside Hangout on Google+

During his time in the White House, Franklin D. Roosevelt gave a series of evening radio addresses dubbed "fireside chats." Nearly three-quarters of a century later, President Barack Obama is continuing the tradition?? with a modern spin.

At 4:50 p.m. ET on Thursday (yes, that's today), a panel of participants will join Obama in a Google+ Hangout ??a video chat ??and ask questions which were voted on by the public. The panel will include author John Green, engineer Limor Fried, blogger Kira Davis, YouTube commentator Lee Doren, and online magazine founder Jacky Guerrero.?Those not actively participating in the Hangout, will still be able to watch it live above or?on the White House YouTube page?(or just peek at a YouTube recording of it later on).

Obama previously participated in a Hangout after last year's State of the Union address. Vice President Biden and Domestic Policy Director Cecilia Munoz, have conducted fireside hangouts of their own.
